NJCU is proud to participate in a range of programs designed to provide education benefits for veterans, including the G.I. Bill programs.
N.J. National Guard Tuition Waivers are provided by each individual unit. Students must bring a copy of a Commander’s Certification to the Veterans Coordinator in order to utilize the benefit.
The Veterans Tuition Credit Program (VTCP) and the Vietnam Veterans Tuition Assistance Program (VVTAP) are administered by the state of N.J. for residents who served during the Vietnam Era and resided in the state of N.J. during that time. Forms are available from the Veterans Coordinator and should be submitted as soon as possible.
Tuition Assistance Forms are provided by the education officers in the student’s respective branch of service. Forms must be completed and submitted directly to the NJCU Bursar.
If you have questions about the veteran education benefits for which you qualify, please contact our Veteran Coordinator at the University Advisement Center, Vodra Hall, Room 101.
