New Jersey City University is an active community participant, supporting and working with residents and businesses to create a better Jersey City. The site serves as a needed resource in support of New Jersey's Social Studies Curriculum. A more scholarly and reliable alternative to Wikipedia, both public and private school students and teachers can integrate Jersey City history into their classroom learning activities via this freely available online resource.
