  • Walter Glospie Academy of American Poets Prize 2013 (Deadline April 15)

    Submissions are now being accepted for the Walter Glospie Academy of American Poets Prize. Up to three poems may be submitted to Professor Charles Lynch in the English Department or via e-mail. Please read the details for submission. 


    Kathy Potter Memorial Writing Award Submission Deadline (May 20, 2013)

    Students interested in submitting a memoir, personal essay, or piece of creative non-fiction that was written for an NJCU course during the academic year 2012-2013 should submit their work to Professors Edvige Giunta, Ethan Bumas, and Jacqueline Ellis by May 20th. Only one submission per student will be accepted.


    Speaking of Literature

    The Speaking of Literature program stages a series of compelling events where professors from the English Department are invited to discuss various aspects of their personal research and writing. The intent is to showcase the critical and creative projects of the faculty and to allow for an engaging dialogue among students and other faculty members with the dynamic world of themes, ideas, and images being developed within that scholarly work.
