    Inocente (Andrea Nix Fine and Sean Fine, 2012, 40 minutes) Film Screening and Brown Bag Discussion facilitated by A. Cieslik and C. Raissiguier Inocente is an intensely personal and vibrant coming of age documentary about a young artist’s fierce determination to never surrender to the bleakness of her surroundings. At 15, Inocente refuses to let her dream of becoming an artist be caged by her life as an undocumented immigrant forced to live homeless for most of her childhood. Winner of the Academy Award® for Best Documentary Short Subject; Best Documentary Short – San Antonio Film Festival; Special Jury Prize – Arizona International Film Festival; Spirit Award – Awareness Fest; UNICEF Special Award – EBS International Documentary Festival; Festival Award Winner – Heartland Film Festival; Short Film – Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival; Audience Award Best Documentary – Women + Film VOICES Festival.
