Students who plan to enter college as a traditional freshman applicant are encouraged to contact the NJCU college admissions team to learn about the value, positive challenges, and rewards of an NJCU college education.
You are considered a freshman applicant if you are starting NJCU for the first time or if you have attended college but have fewer than 12 college-level credits. Please review our Application Checklist to determine what materials you will need for your NJCU application.
You may complete the college admissions application online. Or, if you prefer to submit a paper application, you can download the application form and mail it to us.
Please also view our upcoming events and application dates.
Low-income residents who are capable and motivated, but who lack adequate preparation for college study, may be eligible for the Opportunity Scholarship Program, assistance made possible through the Educational Opportunity Fund. To apply for OSP membership, please indicate your interest on the application form and submit to Admissions.
Or via mail by downloading the application
