Transfer Credits

Print
  • If you are admitted to NJCU as a transfer student, either for full or part-time study, your transcript will be evaluated by the University Advisement Center for application toward the Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree. Transfer credits will be granted for those courses carrying a letter grade of "C" or better and applicable to your degree requirements.

If you are a transfer student who has graduated from an approved New Jersey community college or four year college with an A.A. or A.S. degree, and you have earned a cumulative grade-point average of at least 2.0 (on a 4.0 scale), you may transfer a block of credits to satisfy the University’s general studies requirements, including the All University Requirements. All degree credits completed toward the associate degree will count toward the requirements for a bachelor’s degree.

For questions about transcript evaluations, please visit the website of the Transfer Resource Center at the University Advisement Center or contact 201-200-3395.
