OUR VISION
The Speicher-Rubin Women's Center for Equity and Diversity will create a University community where everyone understands and values diverse cultures, experiences, and perspectives. In fulfilling this goal, the Center staff will develop programs and services that serve the intellectual, social, personal, and cultural needs of all students while paying particular attention to women, as well as under-represented and marginalized groups.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the Speicher-Rubin Women's Center for Equity and Diversity at New Jersey City University and within the community at a large is to advocate, educate, and provide support and referral services in order to address cultural diversity and to achieve equity for women as well as under-represented students with respect to ability, race, color, national origin, sex, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity or religion.
GOALS
In this initial effort to develop a more institutionally integrated and more specific approach toward advancing the broad connect of equity and diversity, it will be important to identify goals and objectives that address these three areas:
