In addition to individual faculty members and departments, student learning assessment is facilitated by college and university committees. At the university level, it is coordinated by PACC: Program Assessment Coordinating Committee. In existence since 2012, this committee is responsible for assisting with implementation of the university-wide program-level student learning assessment process.
Historically, the Committee for Ongoing Student Learning Assessment (COSLA) was an ad-hoc committee responsible for recommending the creation of PACC. A precursor to both committees was UCASL: University Committee on Assessment of Student Learning.
