The OSP-EOF Summer Academy gives first-time college students (who we refer to as our scholars) the opportunity to engage in courses, workshops, and social activities to prepare for a successful transition into college. Our scholars learn about campus resources, build leadership skills, and make lasting connections with staff and peers. Scholars who take advantage of this opportunity report increased confidence during their first semester of college.

During the OSP Summer Academy, scholars receive training in essential mathematics, reading, and writing skills to prepare for their first semester of college. They also attend Leadership Seminars that help develop personal initiative, a sense of responsibility, and effective study skills.

All tuition and fees, books, activities, meals, and summer residential expenses are paid for by OSP/EOF. Scholars who participate in the 5-week pathway can also earn 3 credits toward their degree requirements at no cost to them.

The 2024 OSP Summer Academy will run from Sunday, July 7 through Thursday, August 12, 2024. Students who successfully complete the OSP-EOF application process and are accepted to our program will be given additional details.
