Martin Kruck received his M.F.A. in Printmaking from the State University of New York at Buffalo and his B.F.A. in Printmaking from Queen University, Canada. Prior to joining the faculty at New Jersey City University, he has held positions at the State University of New York at Buffalo; University of Florida, Gainesville; and Southern Connecticut State University. His work has been exhibited in Germany, Japan, Mexico, Canada and throughout the United States. He is the recipient of grants from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York State Council for the Arts, the Connecticut Commission on the Arts, and the Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation. He is an independent master printer who has lectured internationally on printmaking practice and theory and has curated over 14 contemporary art exhibitions including experimental printmaking and new media.
