The Bachelor of Science in Business Administration develops individuals with effective leadership and critical thinking skills, discipline-related competencies, and comprehension of the ethics and dynamics of the business environment. Program learning outcomes include: the communication and technological behaviors required to function effectively in a multicultural and diverse economic community; the problem-solving and decision-making techniques that are critical to navigate an uncertain business environment; and the discipline-related skills in accounting, finance, marketing, and management that are needed to compete in a dynamic business environment. The curricula provide a strong academic base for continuing education, including professional development, graduate study and life-long learning.
Transfer Students: Transfer students must complete at least 12 credits at NJCU, in addition to above requirements prior to declaring a major. Courses taken at NJCU to satisfy Business Administration major requirements require a minimum grade C (2.0). Major classes in which a grade below a C is earned do not meet degree requirements.
