FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES FOR NJCU MATH AND SCIENCE MAJORS

Beginning in 2009, several exciting new programs designed to recruit, retain, and graduate more science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) majors have been implemented at NJCU. Due to the shortage of STEM professionals, career opportunities exist at all academic levels.

USDA INTERNSHIP/RESEARCH EXPERIENCES

The USDA is funding research/internship opportunities at NJCU, and all students in the sciences are encouraged to apply. Students interested in the program can contact Dr. William Montgomery atwmontgomery@njcu.edu. You can also find more information and download an application athttp://web.njcu.edu/programs/stem/content/us_dept_of_agriculture.asp.
