New Jersey City University invites the community to visit and enjoy its abundant cultural and educational resources. NJCU serves as a cultural center, with community resources ranging from art galleries and performing arts to library services and academic centers.
NJCU’s Harold B. Lemmerman Gallery and Visual Arts Gallery present innovative exhibits and installations by established artists as well as students.centers.
The University presents performing arts programs throughout the year, including solo recitals, chamber music, large instrumental and choral ensemble concerts, and opera and musical theater productions. In addition, the Actors Shakespeare Company, in residence at NJCU, performs regularly at the University’s West Side Theater.
The Congressman Frank J.
