Biography

Dr. Connie Yu has been a Professor of Computer Science at NJCU since 2001. Her field of expertise is in Computational Complexity and she has authored several papers in Mathematical Logic and Computation. Previously  Dr. Yu was tenured at Penn State University where she taught students primarily majoring in Engineering. 

In her first year at NJCU, Dr. Yu received a five year Federal National Science Foundation (NSF) grant for her "Computer Science Mathematics Scholarship Program".  Professionally she serves as a consultant for projects in database mining and warehousing. Before Dr. Yu joined NJCU, she was a Senior Software Engineer in a start-up company responsible for developing real-time traffic data aggregation algorithms.
