Computer Science Minor

  • The Computer Science Minor provides an excellent complement of courses for students majoring in the sciences, mathematics, and disciplines that require enhanced computational resources and skills. Courses in Java programming, discrete mathematics, operating systems, and data structures provide a foundation in computer science and computational concepts. Additional courses such as computational methods, telecommunications and networks, and database design provide further study of related subjects. 

    Required courses in the Computer Science Minor are listed below. Courses with asterisks (*)  do not have a prerequisite or corequisite requirement:

      One 300 or 400 level Computer Science course for which the student has completed the appropriate prerequisite.
