Dr. Gallagher-Hobson earned a Bachelor's degree with honors in Psychology at Northeastern Illinois University, a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Wisconsin, and her doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology at Rutgers University-New Brunswick. She has a New Jersey license to practice psychotherapy. Her professional interests include empowerment, diversity issues (race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, religion, etc.), spirituality/religion, sexual abuse/assault, anger management, depression, anxiety and emotional freedom tapping. She is also a certified eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) clinician.
