    A bachelors of science degree in Health Science prepares students as highly competent health professionals who are also:

    • Critical thinkers and problem solvers
    • Self-directed learners
    • Effective communicators

    Classes are given in a variety of formats in order to meet the different needs of our students. Undergraduate courses are offered in the day and evening. Some courses are web-enhanced and some are offered on weekends. 

    The requirements for admission to this degree track are:

    • A minimum cumulative undergraduate grade point average (CGPA) of 2.5 
    • A minimum GPA of 2.5 in all Health courses 
    • Completion of the All University Requirements and the following specific courses (with minimum GPA of 2.0)
      • Math 102 Fundamentals of Math I or MATH 112¹ Intermediate Algebra
      • BIOL 104¹ The Human Body
      • BIOL 106¹ Practical Nutrition
      • GEOG 250¹ Geographic Information Systems I
        ¹ may be used to simultaneously satisfy a General Studies Program area requirement.
