Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Finance Specialization

The Finance specialization prepares individuals for careers in the financial management of businesses, government and non-profit organizations. It provides students with specific skills in finance complementing a broad business competency.

The program focuses on traditional fundamentals of financial management and contemporary financial thought. The required prior knowledge of finance, accounting, and quantitative methods will be used in problem sets, case studies, and throughout the core and specialty courses in the finance program. Students examine best practices for an economy based on information technology and intellectual property in addition to traditional tangible assets. Study includes: issues of domestic and multi-national financial structures; ethics and regulation; and innovative financial management. These skill sets are increasingly required by business, government, and non-profit entities in a global environment.
