    FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE

     

     
     
    There are a number of ways to help finance your undergraduate college education. Most OSP students are eligible for these financial aid programs. Learn more about them and how much your education will cost, by calling the financial aid office at 201-200-3173/3145.
     

    Federal Pell Grant

    A federal grant of up to $4,050 yearly, depending upon congressional appropriations and based on financial need.

    Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (SEOG)

    A campus-based federal grant between $200 and $400 yearly, depending on the need and the availability of funds.

    Federal Work Study Program (CWS)

    The CWS consists of part-time on-campus employment offered to incoming OSP freshmen during the academic year. The number of work hours per week depends on a student's financial need and the availability of funds.

    Tuition Aid Grant (TAG)

    New Jersey state grant of up to $4,860 yearly, based on need.

    Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF/OSP)

    A New Jersey state grant of up to $1,400 per year for OSP dorm students and $1,150 per year for OSP commuter students. Eligible OSP students can receive 12 semesters of TAG and EOF. Non-OSP students receive only eight semesters of state aid.

    EOF/OSP Graduate Grant

    An EOF graduate grant of $2,300 per year is available to students who are accepted by the NJCU Graduate Division and fit EOF eligibility requirements.
