  • The decision to cancel classes and/or to delay opening is based on a number of factors including the time and nature of a storm, road conditions, and conditions on campus. The decision is made by the Vice President of Student Affairs or designee after conferring with and receiving feedback from the Director of Public Safety Department, members of the University, and local public safety officials.
