Delta Mu Delta

    Zeta Gamma Chapter

    Business Honor Society

Objective: Provide lifelong recognition for outstanding academic achievement by undergraduate and graduate business students.
Delta Mu Delta was founded at NYU in 1913 to give recognition to outstanding business students in a similar way to the recognition given to liberal arts students who receive Phi Beta Kappa.

    • The Zeta Gamma chapter was founded at NJCU in 1992.
    • Membership is by invitation after recommendation by faculty. Undergraduate business majors who have completed 95 credits and achieve a grade point average of 3.6, and graduate students who have completed 24 credits and have a grade point average of 3.8 are eligible for recommendation.
    • A Delta Mu Delta member is universally recognized as someone who has earned high academic distinction in the study of business.
    • At the end of each academic year new members are inducted in a formal ceremony followed by a celebratory dinner which includes the students’ families and faculty members.
