The Office of Public Information and Community Relations contributes to the public awareness of the University through its efforts in media relations and community engagement.The Office informs the general public, the University community, donors, and alumni of noteworthy developments at the University through print and electronic media, the NJCU Web site, and GothicNet.
The Office of Public Information and Community Relations works in collaboration with Communications and Marketing to support institutional advancement initiatives and reinforce the University’s recruitment efforts.
Ms. Wayman-Gordon serves as the official University spokesperson, liaison with the New Jersey Film Commission, and member of the NJCU Critical Incident Response Team.
The Office coordinates crisis communications, and is responsible for major announcements, and all official photography.
