                Whether you are a new freshman, transfer, veteran, readmitted or continuing student, you will counseled by a UAC advisor until you are ready to declare a major. We hope that you are able to develop a strong professional rapport with your advisor; someone uniquely positioned to help you  identify a major course of study. Please utilize all the invaluable resources available to you at NJCU so that you graduate in a timely manner and transition into a successful and rewarding career.     • Career Appointments- Students may schedule individual meetings with a career planning and placement counselor by calling the Academic Career Planning and Placement Office at 201-200-3005 or 201-200-3006 or visit their website at for more detailed information. 
    • Career Library- The Academic Career Planning and Placement Office has an extensive career library for career exploration. Students are encouraged to visit the Career Planning and Placement Office, located in Vodra Hall, Room 101.
