NJCU School of Business Wins Gold Medal in 2016 Starnet Design Awards

The NJCU School of Business received a Gold Medal in the 2016 Starnet Design Awards in the Education category.  The award is selected by a panel of judges based on the following:

Design excellence is a fundamental part of exceptional flooring installations, and dynamic relationships between Starnet Members and the A&D community are key to their success. Since 1998, the Starnet Design Awards have recognized the fruits of these relationships by spotlighting the innovative use of flooring. These awards celebrate the creativity and professionalism of both the A&D community and our Members, as well as the quality and versatility of Starnet Preferred Vendor flooring products.

Entries in all categories will be judged on the synthesis of form and function, with the floor as the focus, including these specific criteria:

• Creative use of flooring

• Flooring design and integration into the overall space

• Successful meeting of client objectives

Judges were selected from respected industry firms. The 2016 design award judges featured Paul Lewandowski, AIA, IIDA, LEEP AP,  Lavallee Brensinger Architects, Design Principal; Scott MacMeekin, IIDA, LEED AP BD+C, Gensler, Associate; and Megan Walker, ASID, LEED AP, Eppsteen Uhen Architects, Senior Interior Designer.
