Relay for Life Event at John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center

All proceeds will go to assist in the efforts of the American Cancer Society (ACS) whose mission is to eliminate cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy, and service. NJCU is working on a city-wide campaign in support of the ACS that will culminate in a Relay for Life event at the John J. Moore Athletics and Fitness Center, beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28 and ending at noon on Saturday, April 29.

The Relay for Life movement unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have battled cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action to finish the fight once and for all. Relay for Life events are community gatherings where teams and individuals camp out at a school, park, or fairground and take turns walking or running around a track or path. Individuals and teams raise funds and awareness to help the American Cancer Society save more lives from cancer.
