NJCU Business Students Complete Goldman Sachs’ Local College Collaborative Program

Initiative Brings Together Business Students from Both Sides of the Hudson River to Develop Professional Skills

Nine business students enrolled at the New Jersey City University (NJCU) School of Business were among 40 undergraduates delivering final presentations for the Goldman Sachs’ Local College Collaborative program on Friday, May 5 at Goldman Sachs’s global headquarters in New York City. The event showcased the outstanding work done by these exceptional students and marked their completion of the program.

Throughout the Goldman Sachs Local College Collaborative program, which launched in November 2016, a total of 40 students from Hudson County Community College, New Jersey City University, St. Peter’s University, and the Borough of Manhattan Community College attended sessions at each college campus and Goldman Sachs’ offices, where they developed leadership, career readiness, business management, analytical, teamwork, networking and presentation skills.

At the final event, students presented their proposed solutions to various business case challenges, which they had worked on alongside their Goldman Sachs mentors over the past six months.
