NJCU student, Krystal Lemonias, was selected for the 2018 XLCatlin Art Prize exhibition. Her work was selected from a competitive pool of applicants from impressive national university programs, juried by a distinguished panel from the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Whitney Museum, The Museum of Modern Art, and the Gagosian Gallery.
Krystal's artwork, "Guru" was a relief print created in Professor Martin Kruk's class and was the only example of Printmaking selected for this exhibition — an exhibition that heavily favors painting. Her work was chosen for the splash page on the site's mobile application.
