The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for most of the state of New Jersey for Sunday through Tuesday with total accumulations up to two (2) feet possible in the northern half of the state. 

NJCU will remain open and operating but is switching to fully remote learning and work on Monday, February 1, 2021. This announcement does not apply to weather-essential personnel. 

All classes operating in a Hybrid, HyFlex, and Online modality will continue as scheduled online. Students scheduled for a face-to-face in-person course should check with their instructors regarding any changes.

The university will continue to monitor this storm and will send a follow-up communication regarding Tuesday.

Please note the status of other academic and business operations planned for Monday:
  • Tutoring Services: The Hub's remote tutoring services will remain open. Hours of operation are Monday through Thursday 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Fridays 10 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Appointments can be booked via The Hub's remote reception desk, by visiting this link.
  • Dining: The cafeteria will operate on a normal schedule and remain open until 7 p.m. on Monday. Students can also order via the GET Mobile App. Residential students should check their NJCU email for dining updates.
  • Shuttle Services: The shuttle will continue operating as long as safe conditions permit.
