The National Weather Service is forecasting a severe winter storm tonight through early tomorrow, which will include torrential, potentially flooding rains, and damaging winds. In preparation, Governor Murphy has declared a State of Emergency effective at 5 p.m. today.
As a result, New Jersey City University will operate under a two-hour delayed opening at its main campus, School of Business, and Fort Monmouth locations on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
The University will open for in-person activities beginning at 10 a.m. Nonessential personnel should not report to campus until 10 a.m. There are no changes to other services on campus.
This announcement does not apply to weather-essential personnel, who should report as usual.
