Come and celebrate the beginning of our academic year with the entire NJCU Community during the 41st Annual Academic Convocation. We will gather in the Margaret Williams Theatre on Wednesday, September 14 at 2:30 p.m.
This year’s keynote address will be delivered by Dr. Simone Hyater-Adams, Director of Programs at STEM From Dance
Dr. Hyater-Adams received her B.S. in Physics from Hampton University and her Ph.D. in Physics from the ATLAS Institute at the University of Colorado Boulder where she was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. Her research examined the connections between performance art and identity for Black Physicists. Dr. Hyater-Adams also consults on various projects of interest at the intersection of equity, STEM, and education.
