Dear NJCU Community,

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month—a crucial time to raise awareness and encourage conversations about domestic violence, which impacts individuals and families in every community, including our own.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Monica Gural, Co-Chief Attorney of the Domestic Violence Representation Project at Legal Services of New Jersey, who will join us on campus for an important presentation with NJCU Interim President Andrés Acebo on October 2, 2024 from 12-1:30 p.m. in Gilligan Student Union 317.

Please join us for her presentation as Monica will share invaluable insights into the legal resources available for survivors of domestic violence and discuss the key elements of healthy relationships. With more than two decades of experience in this field, Ms. Gural has devoted her career to supporting victims of domestic violence and sexual offenses.

Lunch will be provided, but please register below by emailing Andrea Spencer at ASpencer@njcu.edu by Tuesday, October 1, 2024.
