Svetlana is “Astrud Gilberto via Moscow”, a Russian-born critically acclaimed American jazz vocalist. Her new record and concert program, Night at the Movies is Svetlana’s love affair with movies and dreaming. The concert adapts Oscar-winning Songs from the 1930s to today, taking listeners on a carnival of sound, from sultry introspective torch jazz vocals to a rowdy New Orleans-inspired dance party.
