Flag Raising Ceremony (9:00 a.m. in front of the Flag Pole, Hepburn Hall): Join us as our faculty/staff and students raise the flag in honor of Veterans Day.

Collection for both Homeless & Deployed Veterans (11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Collection Boxes): OMVS will be collecting in the GSUB Lobby for both deployed and homeless veterans: blankets, water bottles, soap bars, toothbrushes, toothpaste, wet wipes, hand sanitizer, hairbrushes, winter gear, feminine hygiene products, instant meals, drink mixes, beef jerky, crackers, etc. are greatly appreciated!
Wednesday, November 13
VA Healthcare of NJ (Grossnickle Hall, Room 418 from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.): The VA will be on campus to discuss benefits and answer questions for students, faculty and staff who may have entitlement under the Department of Veterans Affairs Division of Health).
From Camouflage to Community (2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m., GSUB Room 129): The JC Office of Veterans Affairs will be hosting a free workshop on resume writing/job searching for veterans, military personal, and friends of our community.
Thursday, November 14
Green Zone Training (10:00 a.m., GSUB Room 129): Military Competency Training for Faculty, Staff & Students: understand the student veterans; who they are, what their needs are, how to work with them in a classroom, how you can assist them as a professor, fellow classmate, etc.

Jeans for Troops Day: Faculty & Staff donate $5 (Students who wish to participate can donate $1) in order to wear jeans for the day in support of Veterans and the GI Go Fund, which is a nonprofit organization that assists Veterans with housing/homelessness, employment/training and benefits/legal assistance. Donations can be either made online, or dropped off at the Office of Military & Veterans Services, Grossnickle Hall, Room 418
