Dr. Moitrayee Chatterjee research work focuses on Analytical Data Sciences and Engineering. She has keen interest in ensuring security in cyber space, her research focuses on finding novel deep/machine learning based intelligent solutions through data driven learning, prediction, and decision-making processes in identifying, circumventing, and reacting to security threats.

Project Description: In close collaboration with Dr. Russell Carpenter, Deputy Project Manager at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, who will act as a subject matter expert and mentor to the students at NJCU, establish the Collaboration for Safe and Trustworthy Autonomous Technologies (CSTAT), to empower students with expertise in Reinforcement Learning paradigm, essential for the development of autonomous systems, aligning student research under NASA’s technology taxonomy, creating the foundation for intelligent and autonomous navigation solutions development at NJCU that will benefit NASA's future missions.
