Summary

I am a designer of many interests. I enjoy understanding how the parts of a system work and communicating that understanding through a designed experience.

I believe that design is utilitarian. By producing the greatest good for the greatest number of people, we make the world better. It is only through this purpose that beauty can emerge from design.

I have had the privilege of working with many great designers and working for many great students, as both a design professional and an instructor. These experiences have given me the opportunity to contribute to design publications, to win awards, to exhibit work, to be a guest speaker, a mentor and a guest critic.
