GothicNet Portal PeopleTools 8.59.23 Upgrade

The Department of Information Technology will be performing PeopleTools upgrade to GothicNet Portal from version 8.56.24 to version 8.59.23. This upgrade enhances the user experience to homepage and make PeopleSoft systems much easier to use. 

Enhancements to the homepage:

  • NavBar - Quick access to PeopleSoft resources via the NavBar, which can be located by the compass icon in the top right corner of the dashboard.
  • Homepage Selector & Indicator – Moved to the left (can select homepages on drop-down arrow); with homepage number indicator on the right to scroll through homepages
  • Quick Access Bar - Recently Visited and Favorites without clicking into the Navigation Menu. (Only on Homepage not any other page.) 
  • Mobile Friendly

Important Note: The "My Links" feature, which is currently available in the classic user interface, is being phased out and replaced by "Favorites" in the fluid user interface.

Quick Access Bar – New homepage now includes a quick access bar on the left of the homepage. Users can easily access recently visited pages and favorites; can also manage your favorites from here.
