Freshman Testing Requirements

Eligibility for test exemptions based on one or more of the following:

Students with SAT-Critical Reading score of 530 or higher are exempt from the English sections of the test.
Students with SAT-Math score of 530 or higher are exempt from the Math section of the test.
Students who are test exempt must still register below to reserve a spot to meet with an academic advisor.

Please note that students in the following majors are required to take the Math placement tests regardless of SAT/ACT scores:

Business
Accounting

Entrepreneurship
Finance
Global Business
Hospitality Management
Management
Marketing
Sports management
Supply Chain, Logistic, and Maritime Port Management

If you have completed college coursework sponsored by another university, you must also request to have that official transcript submitted to NJCU for transfer credit consideration
