It requires a proactive program and a team effort to avoiding or minimizing the risk of hazards.  It starts with an effective information dissemination and training programs to properly inform everyone involved in handling hazardous substances in the labs.  The lab safety resources provided herein aim to encourage teamwork among faculty, staff and students in performing experiments safely while learning chemical concepts in action.
