What benefits can I look forward to after being migrated to Outlook in Microsoft 365?

A larger mailbox size of 50GB and enhanced security.

Will my NJCU email address stay the same after being migrated?

Yes, your email address will remain the same.

Will I lose any of my current email, folders, calendar appointments or contacts?

No. Everything will remain intact after your account is migrated to Outlook in Microsoft 365.

How will I access my Outlook in Microsoft 365 mailbox, calendar(s), etc.?

You will be able to access your email using the Outlook desktop client or by accessing Outlook (in your web browser) by visiting https://outlook.com/njcu.edu/ or by using your mobile device(s).

Will I be able to access my Microsoft 365 mailbox from remote locations?

Yes. You can access your Outlook in Microsoft 365 mailbox from anywhere you have internet access, using your mobile device(s), etc.

Will I have to re-configure any connections or setups for any of my devices?

Yes. Since Outlook in Microsoft 365 uses different servers, users will need to re-configure their mobile devices. Review this documentation on the Department of IT website for details.
