Adult and Continuing Education

The Office of Adult and Continuing Education is re-imagining the way we learn, what we learn and how we learn. We seek to promote lifelong learning by providing all learners – of all ages in all contexts – the knowledge and skills they need to realize their full potential. Education is not limited to a single period of one’s lifetime. We advocate for continuous discovery and support the life cycle of learners with programs for children seeking new topics to explore, enrichment activities, and new opportunities for skills development; for adults seeking workforce and professional development and short-term certifications; and for mature citizens, looking for intellectual stimulation and the comfort of a shared community experience. A growing number of courses are offered in Spanish.
