The Finance specialization prepares students for careers in financial management, investment banking, commercial banking, risk management, and financial planning while the business analytics and data science specialization prepares students for careers in the field of data analytics. Student Clubs
The Student Investment Management Group is a team of students who invests and monitors a student-managed securities fund, with the assistance of faculty advisors. The Group was formed through the inspiration and generosity of Congressman Frank J. Guarini. Our Previous faculty advisors consist of the follow professors at NJCU: Dean of School of Business Dr. Bernard McSherrry, Dr. George Li and, Dr. Marilyn Ettinger, and Professor Christopher Versace. Our account is held at Wells Fargo Advisors. with the Scorziello-Perez Financial Group.
The NJCU FMA chapter aims on providing students with a hands-on experience in finance related activities.
The Data Science, FinTech and Information Systems Research Lab conducts research centered around various aspects of analyzing and modeling data to help with data driven decision making and understanding the adoption and use of information systems/technology.
