Our Gen Ed Courses
In addition to the courses we teach in several languages and as part of our own programs, we also offer courses in English for NJCU’s General Education program. Our General Education classes provide all students with the opportunity to explore intercultural topics of general interest while developing essential academic skills.
Because our Gen Ed courses emphasize text analysis as a way to examine the factors behind social institutions, historical events, and intercultural relations, they are part of two Modes of Inquiry, or interdisciplinary approaches to knowledge: Language, Literary, and Cultural Studies, and Social and Historical Perspectives.
