PLTL Workshop Rules of Etiquette
- Each student is required to sign in upon arriving to each workshop.
- Each student is required to bring his/her textbook, notes, pencil, and calculator to each workshop.
- Each student is expected to arrive to each workshop on time.
- Each student is expected to stay for the duration of the workshop.
- If a student arrives more than 15 minutes late to the workshop, he/she will not receive credit for having attended the workshop.
- If a student leaves before the conclusion of the workshop, he/she will not receive credit for having attended the workshop.
- Each student is required to actively engage in group collaboration with his/her peers to derive feasible solutions to each of the problems assigned by the workshop leaders.
- No student shall display any disruptive or inappropriate behavior during the workshops.
- Texting, tweeting, updating of statuses, chatting, instant messaging, web browsing, or any other extracurricular action that requires the use of your smart phone/wireless device is not allowed during the workshop.
- The role of the workshop leader is not to give solutions to the problems, but to facilitate discussions among the workshop attendees.
