Meningitis Information

The State of New Jersey requires that all new students be provided with information about Meningitis and will be required to provide proof of Meningococcal B vaccination. In addition, each new student will complete a survey indicating whether or not they plan to receive the vaccination. Meningitis information and the survey are located on the NJCU Entrance Health Record.

Meningitis Vaccine: Requirement for Campus Housing

All new students who plan to live in campus housing must present documented proof of one adult dose of the currently recommended Meningitis (Menactra/Menveo) vaccination given within the last 5 years as a condition of residence at NJCU. Students who fail to submit this information will not be permitted to move into campus residential facilities until this is completed.
